Raúl González Blanco was born on June 27, 1977, in Madrid, Spain. He began his career as a youth player at Atletico Madrid before joining the Real Madrid youth academy in 1992. He made his professional debut for Real Madrid in October 1994 and quickly established himself as a key player for the club.
Throughout his career, Raúl González Blanco became known for his goal-scoring ability and his leadership on the pitch. He played for Real Madrid for 16 seasons, scoring 323 goals in 741 appearances for the club.
